A bit more on Susie:
Susie grew up on a sheep and cattle property about 100km South-West of Tambo in Central-West Queensland. Her family were originally focused on wool production however they have since moved away from sheep and now focus solely on breeding cattle for commercial markets. As a child, Susie was forever bringing home orphaned lambs and calves so her interest in nutrition began at an early age. Susie completed her tertiary education at the University of Queensland?۪s Gatton Campus, graduating with a dual degree of a Bachelor of Agribusiness and Bachelor of Applied Science (Animal Science). In 2012, she moved back to Tambo to work as a station hand for various people in the area whilst she completed her studies. Susie?۪s rural background and University studies cemented her interest in ruminant nutrition as she recognised the potential for primary producers to improve the productivity of their livestock enterprises. After a year and a half of chasing cows, Susie started at Top Country in Roma as a Nutritionist for the Warrego and Central Western Queensland region.
